I went to school with Landrys' mommy, Amber, when set a date to take his pictures I was pumped! We found a good shady spot so he could open his bright eyes and show his personality but he wasn't so sure he wanted to do that... We tried everything we could to make him happy, we moved him, Mommy cooed and Daddy held him and he just wasn't himself. He ended up going to sleep so we decided we would try another day, so Saturday rolled around and was happier but still not sure about that big black thing in his face (my camera). He finally let a few smiles slip out and had a good time.

Wolf Creek Colorado
The week before spring break my family made a little road trip to Colorado. This would be our first trip back in 5 or 6 years, and the first time that my sister and her family made the trip to Wolf Creek with us. We took two trucks and had them packed down with our clothes, equipment, food and things to entertain us on the way. We stayed in the Cabins that are closest to the slopes and where we have stayed many times before.
We spent three days on the slopes and Im pretty sure we were all finding new muscles that we had never felt before. But we had a great time and are all looking forward to next year. (These pictures were all taken from a point and shoot while Snowboarding :)
On our way home we took a different route and drove by the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo. I remember going as a child and loving it, so I wanted to make sure Charlie got to see it while we were so close. We had brought spray paint and markers so we could join all the others in the fun of marking the cars with our names.
Fields Racing!
Justin has raced I believe for 6 years now... and when we first started going to the track I felt like it was just us out there, we didn't know anyone. A few weeks pass and Justin's dad started finding some of his old racing buddies out there and so we started parking next to a guy that he knew and he started helping Justin set up his car. Well on the other side of the trailer was a younger guy still in high school and racing another class. He came over and would help out and chat. Well over the years we got to know Mr Patrick well and we look forward to Saturday nights to catch up with each others stories and just hang out. Patrick is moving up in classes and is working on building a new car, so he asked Justin to do the lettering. (thats the stickers for those of you not into racing lingo ;) So he brought the car over and Justin and I worked on getting is car looking good! :)
We think it turned out great and I think Patrick and his dad were happy with it too.
Miss Taylor Wismer!
Taylor is a really sweet girl, She is dating my Nephew and I just love getting the chance to hang out and chat. Oh and she was crowned Miss Fannin County 2010! She is a beautiful girl and I love getting the chance to take her pictures! :)
